Credit Checklist

Requirements for loans are:

  • A net income of at least CHF 3,000.
  • No open debt collection proceedings*, loss certificates or bankruptcies.
  • Valid Swiss passport or B or C residence permit.
  • Foreigners with a B residence permit who have lived in Switzerland for at least 12 months.
  • Age between 18 and 68 years.

The application will generally be checked and a response sent within 24 hours, provided that all the necessary documents (copy of ID, salary slips, etc.) have been submitted. If the decision is favourable, an offer with a contract template will be sent by post or e-mail. As soon as you have returned the signed contract to us, the bank will transfer the desired loan directly to your account, taking into account the statutory waiting period of 14 days.

  • *What are open debt collection proceedings?

This means that you have unpaid debts that have been officially registered.
A prerequisite for your loan application is a clean debt collection report. This means that the extract from the debt collection register must not contain any outstanding debt collection proceedings or loss certificates against you.
